Issuance of Manual Passports

Manual Passports information and forms

Note: The Embassy of Pakistan in Madrid and the Consulate of Pakistan in Barcelona are issuing Manual Passports due to absence of facilities for Machine Readable Passports (MRPs). For the Consulate General of Pakistan in Barcelona, please follow the link www.pakconsulatebcn.com.

Note: No appointment is required for passport application. The applicants will be entertained on first come first served basis during application processing time.

Requirements

• Personal appearance of the applicant(s)
• Completely filled application form.
• Four recent identical passport size coloured photographs.
• Expired/old Pakistani passport. In case it has been sent to the Spanish Police, a letter from the relevant police office containing particulars of the passport is also required.
• Original Pakistani National Identity Card/NICOP along with its photocopy.
• Urgent passport is issued on the same day. Fee structure can be perused below.
• If pages of your passport are exhausted, the procedure is same as explained in this section.
• The original Spanish residence card.
• Incomplete applications will be returned without action.

Requirements

• Personal appearance of the applicant(s)
• Completely filled application form.
• Two recent identical passport size coloured photographs.
• Original passport requiring extension, in case it was issued for a period of less than 5 years.
• Original Pakistani National Identity Card/NICOP along with its photocopy.
• Urgent passport is issued on the same day. The fee is €6.00. If pages of your passport are exhausted, the procedure is same as explained before.
• The original Spanish residence card.
• Incomplete applications will be returned without action.

Requirements

• Personal appearance of the applicant(s)
• Filled application form along with “Loss of Passport Form” and the following:

• Police report regarding loss of passport, containing particulars of the lost passport
• Photocopy of lost passport, if available.
• Four passport size photographs
• National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistani (NICOP) in original along with a photocopy.

• Please note that the applicant is required to personally visit the Embassy for interview by the consular officer. If application is accepted, replacement passport will be issued after verification from the issuing office of the lost passport. This process takes a minimum of six weeks.
• Urgent fee €118.00 for first time lost and €236 for second time lost passport will be charged. For normal fee, please see the fee schedule.
• Please note that incomplete application will not be entertained.

This section applies to changes in Manual Passports only. Changes in Machines Readable Passport (MRP) are not applicable. For any changes in MRP, a corresponding prior change in the Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) would be required from NADRA. After this change a revised MRP may be applied at the place where the facility is available (MRP fee applies).

Following procedure applies to changes in Manual Passport only:

A change of address will require:

i. Completed application form C
ii. Proof of new address like Padronmiento, utility bill, bank statement or rent agreement
iii. An affidavit

A change in the date of birth will require:

i. Corresponding prior change of CNIC/NICOP
ii. Completed application form C
iii. Original CNIC Card along with its photocopy
iv. Attested birth certificate (from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan)

For change in name will require:

i. Revised/Changed CNIC/NICOP with corresponding change in it
ii. Completed application form C
iii. Original CNIC Card along with its photocopy
iv. Attested birth certificate (from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan)

For change in name due to change in marital status will require:

i. Revised/Changed CNIC/NICOP with corresponding change in it
ii. Completed application form C
iii. Original CNIC Card along with its photocopy
iv. Attested marriage certificate or nikahnama (from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan)

Requirements

• Personal appearance of the applicant(s)
• Completely filled application form
• Six passport size photographs.
• Birth certificate in original along with its photocopy
• Family Book (Libro de familia) issued by the Spanish government.
• Both parents' Pakistani passports, CNIC/NICOP, Spanish residence cards and Nikahnama in original with photocopy
• At the time of applying for passport, the applicant is required to apply for (NICOP Card) also if not already made.
